Blacksheep Films is seeking a child actor to play the supporting role
of George for the Horror feature film, Mary Woods. George is an
African American male between the ages of 7-10. Non-Union actors
only. Please be aware that the film deals with the topic of child
molestation. But the actual act does not take place in the film.
Synopsis of Film:
Mary, a sweet and lovable twelve year old is at her ropes end. Tired
of being mentally, physically and sexually abused by her father
Raymond, finally musters the strength to stand up for what is right,
and tells her father for the very last time "stop it, you're hurting
me daddy, I don't care if momma don't believe me, I'm telling the
police". On this day Mary's life was ended.
Fifty five years later in the present day of 2006, Mary is back.
The actor and his parent/guardian should be willing to travel to
Central NJ for the film shoot and rehearsal time. Shooting will be
on the weekends this winter. We are accessible by public
transportation by train/bus. We can reimburse you for travel
expenses.
No upfront pay, deferred pay upon film distribution deal. Please
